Message have done on our performance engines in the past and a few were vocally sceptical about this process when it was mentioned that this is the process we use in a previous tt.net post about valvejobs. I was certainly sceptical myself when I found out about this process, but after our machinist showed the cuts it can produce on a valve seat and the additional flow characteristics it can generate, I was convinced. So, I'm sorry I dont have more pictures to offer here, but I took a picture of the cutting die that is used to shape the seat. It has a main flat at the 45 degree point for cutting of the sealing region where the valve contacts the seat, and the rest of the die is fluted with distinctive cuts to produce the radius of the cut. This picture doesn't give it full justice as it is hard to see the individual flats, but in person and in good light you can see them rather well. So without further adeu:

This is a custom made piece so searching for this wont yield any results to my knowledge.

This piece is only the part that does the cutting. There is a chuck that holds this piece and a guide for it that slips into the valveguide to center the cutting head to the valveseat. This is done on Sunnen machinery.

We have only been doing this on performance builds that we assemble in-house, but our goal is to have several 'stages' of complete head packages - heads, machining, portwork, springs, cams, and an option for larger valves as well.
